Astri Reusch completed studies in glass casting techniques, landscape architecture, biology and visual arts. Her geometric works, often monumental or integrated into architecture, reflect her multidisciplinary background, and she has represented Canada at several international contemporary glass art exhibitions in Japan, Europe and the United States. La Débâcle (1988), located in the lobby of the Musée de la Civilisation in Quebec City, is a strong example of her work.
