A graduate of Concordia University, Brigitte Radecki creates environmental installations in addition to paintings and sculptures. She has been awarded many grants and has exhibited her work in Quebec and New York. Inspired by archaeology, she draws upon past eras and produces works in reference to nature and the origins of humankind, giving them a feminist and political dimension. Her artworks frequently include literary sources that echo and strengthen her ideas.
