Robert Pelletier was a painter, designer, photographer and sculptor best known for his famous sculpture of Louis Cyr. Standing over three metres tall, this monumental work is as imposing as its subject, who was known as “the strongman of Quebec.” In 2004, an exhibition devoted to Pelletier’s entire career was organized at Montreal’s Maison de la culture Marie-Uguay.
