MILLS, Sara

After studying ceramics in her native England in the early seventies, Sara Mills moved to Quebec in 1973 and earned a BA at Concordia University. Together with her husband, fellow ceramicist and sculptor Michel Louis Viala, she opened a studio called Poterie Pluriel Singulier in the Eastern Townships. Her installations (indoor and outdoor murals, gardens with spherical water features), composed of raku pottery pieces of various hues, have been exhibited in Canada, the United States and Europe.
