Adrienne Luce studied at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec before completing a BFA in visual arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal (1985) and an MFA at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (2006). She is known for works integrated into architecture and in situ installations, primarily in the Gaspésie region. Often inspired by the shape of totems, her works tend to comprise natural materials such as wood, skin, stone and fossils. As well as creating videos and incorporating writing into her installations, she also produces critical texts for various art magazines.
