LÉONARD, André (1946)

André Léonard began his career as an architectural technician in 1971 while pursuing studies in architecture at the Université de Montréal. After graduating in 1974, he worked at the Montreal transit bureau, designing and contributing large sculpture murals to the Villa-Maria (1977) and Université-de-Montréal (1980) subway stations. In 1980, he also completed two murals for the Henri-Bourassa station entitled Le potager (“the vegetable garden”) and Les vents (“the winds”).
