Cynthia Heuser Rousselle completed a college diploma (DEC) in fine arts (1986) and various training courses and workshops in sculpture, thermoforming, glass and paper matter. In addition to presenting her work in solo exhibitions, she has taken part in group shows such as Jardin de Lumière at l’Avenir (2013), Utopie at Galerie André-Benjamin-Papineau (2010) and Toparius at the Maison des Arts de Laval (2001). She has also produced monumental works in Saint-Sauveur, Laval and Repentigny, while in 1994, she participated in the Marble sculpture symposium in Colorado (USA). Heuser Rousselle has received a number of awards, including the Prix du public at the 2004 Domaine des Côtes d’Ardoise exhibition in Dunham. Her work reflects a particular interest in the themes of still life, the human body and musical instruments. Inspired by nature, her sculptures combine colour, texture, simplicity and sensual forms.
