GENDRON, Gérard (1950-2013)

Gérard Gendron described himself as an artist-painter-sculptor-ceramist. Among his solo exhibitions were a show at the Maison de la culture Frontenac (1991) and a retrospective at the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke (1999-2000), while his group exhibitions included (Seating) Art Forms in Atlanta (United States, 1996). He also created architecturally integrated works, such as at the Lac-Drolet library (1990) and the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke (1996), and won the 1993 Concours Loto Québec. He exhibited his work at the Galeria Manuel Chacon in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where he was living during his final years.
