GAGNON, Mario

Mario Gagnon completed a Bachelor’s degree in visual arts at Université Laval in 1978. He has created a number of works for the integration of art into architecture throughout the Côte-Nord region, including at the Agence de la santé et des services sociaux de la Côte-Nord in Baie-Comeau (1983), the CSSS de la Haute-Côte-Nord in Forestville (1984) and the Port-Menier Airport in Île d’Anticosti (1986). He works primarily in wood, metal, antique glass and stone, and was among the artists invited to participate in Énergie 3+4, a sculpture symposium held in Baie-Comeau in 1987.
