DE GROSBOIS, Louise (1947)

Louise de Grosbois studied at the Université du Québec à Montréal. She took part in the Symposium de Manicouagan in 1970 and Art et féminisme at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal in 1982. Her interest in dance led her to become coordinator of ESPACE TRAD at the Société pour la promotion de la danse traditionnelle québécoise (SPDTQ). She has also worked in film, notably contributing to a production entitled Opitciwan, while in 1974, she published Les patenteux du Québec in collaboration with Raymonde Lamothe and Lise Nantel. In 2013, she was a member of the jury at the Saint-Ulric Folk Art Sculptures Festival.
